We’re pleased to invite you to the Lasqueti Island Nature Conservancy’s Annual General Meeting, taking place on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Judith Fisher Centre (JFC) with a walk to follow!
This is a wonderful opportunity to hear updates on our conservation work, projects from the past year, renew your membership, and to help shape the future of LINC. We’ll also enjoy a nature walk following the meeting to Marine Island.
Remote Participation:
If you’re off-island and would like to join the AGM via Zoom, please email us so we can plan accordingly.
Schedule:
- 11:00 AM – AGM at the Judith Fisher Centre
- ~1:00 PM – Low tide walk to Marine Island. Meet at the end of Lindberg Road.
Following the AGM, at 1:00 pm, we will meet at Lindbergh Road (public access to Maple Bay) for a group walk to Marine Island, a recently protected area secured by the BC Parks Foundation. This low-tide window offers a rare opportunity to explore the island on foot. Tim Ennis from the BC Parks Foundation will be joining us to speak about the foundation’s work and answer questions regarding their involvement on Lasqueti.
Please bring water, a snack, and appropriate footwear. Cameras are encouraged for those wishing to document the site.

To accommodate the Lasqueti Community Association’s AGM at 1pm that same day, we will endeavor to wrap up the LINC meeting by noon. For those of you who will miss the Marine Island Hike, there will be more walks in the future!
